Northern Border Pipeline Company (NBPL) notifies customers of the need to perform work to address an unplanned and uncontrollable equipment failure at Trimont Compressor Station 13 (CS13) in Minnesota. This necessary measure could not be prevented or overcome by the due diligence of NBPL and requires immediate action to maintain the safety and reliability of the system. Therefore, pursuant to Section 6.9.1 of the General Terms and Conditions of NBPL’s FERC Gas Tariff, NBPL is declaring a Force Majeure effective, Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

 

As a result of the Force Majeure, NBPL will restrict nominated volumes for Flow Past Glen Ullin (GlenSEG) to 2,145 MMcf/d (2,305,875 Dth) effective Evening Cycle for Gas Day Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and continuing until further notice. Reservation Charge Credits, if necessary, will be provided consistent with Section 6.6.7 of NBPL's Tariff.
