Force Majeure – El Paso C Station – Update #1
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) continues to make necessary repairs associated with its high bearing vibration issue at El Paso C Compressor Station located in El Paso County, Texas, (Reference Critical Notice No. 629747).
Due to operational pressure limitations, effective September 26, 2026, Timely Cycle (Cycle 1), the operational capacity through the ELPASO C and associated constraints will be reduced by an additional 106,417 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), resulting in a total reduction of 312,889 dekatherms per day (Dth/d).
EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the ELPASO C and associated constraints.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
