DT Midstream FM at Braxton (842867) cuts TCO receipt capacity by approximately 1.1 Bcf/d from the timely-cycle scheduled level to a 0.400 Bcf/d cap with no return date; Columbia Gas Appalachia basis was already trading at -1.500 vs Henry Hub on 2026-09-21 (five-day average -1.384), and this unresolved FM curtailment of Appalachian supply into TCO is supportive of a tightening (less negative) Columbia Gas App basis, with neutral-to-mildly-bearish signal for Henry Hub as downstream Mid-Atlantic and Midwest markets lose Appalachian supply.
Reroute potential
Limited: TCO is a dominant Appalachian transmission system; TETCO (monitored) and Equitrans serve overlapping Appalachian markets and may absorb some displaced volume, but the 'until further notice' duration and scale of the FM at Braxton -- one of the larger receipt points on the system -- limits full offset, and no single alternative gathering system replaces Stonewall Gas Gathering's Braxton feed.

Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC (TCO) is providing notice to its customers of a Force Majeure declaration by DT Midstream (DTM) that is impacting physical deliveries into TCO at the Stonewall Gas Gathering Braxton interconnect (meter 842867).
TCO is coordinating with DTM and will provide updates as additional information becomes available. Please see DTM’s Force Majeure posting below for additional information.

DTM Stonewall Gas Gathering (SGG) is declaring a Force Majeure at the TCO West Braxton delivery meter (#842867), beginning 9/23/2026 for ID1 Cycle SGG will reduce the maximum capacity at the meter to 400,000 dth until further notice.
There is not currently an estimated return date to normal capacity. DTM will continue to monitor pipeline conditions and will update this Force Majeure as the system is evaluated.
